Haruna O. Rasheed, with extensive experience and knowledge in farming, has proven his dedication to the agricultural industry. Recognizing the need for job creation in his community and beyond, he took a bold step by establishing El-Rasheed Farms Limited in 2007. This was driven by his passion for farming and his desire to contribute to the economy of Nigeria. Through his steadfastness and commitment, El-Rasheed Farms Limited has grown to become a notable player in the agricultural sector, creating numerous employment opportunities for Nigerians and enhancing the standard of living of rural communities. Rasheed Haruna Olayinka's vision for the future of Nigerian agriculture is inspiring and sets a benchmark for many other entrepreneurs to follow. His unwavering zeal and determination to succeed have earned him a remarkable reputation among his peers and colleagues.

Education Background

Alhaji Haruna Olayinka Rasheed's educational background is as follows. He began his primary education at WNDC Primary School in Oda, Akure, Ondo State, and then continued to L. A. Primary School in Oja Tutun, Ibukun, Osun State (High CC Investment and Credit Cooperation Oyo State). For his secondary education, he went to L. A. Morden School in Ibukun, Osun State. Alhaji Olayinka furthered his studies at Lagos City Computer College where he earned his Diploma in Computer Science. He then pursued his Bachelor's degree in History and International Relations at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.

Post Held In The Field

Haruna O. Rasheed has worked in different positions in the field of Agriculture. He was the Chairman of Ilewo-Orile Farm Settlement in Ogun State from May 2018 to June 2021. He then became the Deputy President of the Ogun State Famer Settler Council from July 2021 to June 2022. Currently, he is the Secretary of the National Cassava Processors and Marketers Association (NCAPMA) of Ogun State Chapter from July 2022 to the present.

Field Training & Seminars Received

Haruna O. Rasheed has attended several agricultural field training and seminars that focused on cassava and other farming produce. Some of them include the Cassava Added Value for Africa (CAFA) seminar at FUNAB in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the Federal Institute for Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO) training in Oshodi, Lagos and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) training in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He also received training from the Cassava Revolution Department of the Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, as well as from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) which can simply be translated in English as German Corporation for International Cooperation.

Muritala Oladimeji Abdul-Rasheed - LLB, LLM

Mr. Muritala Oladimeji Abdul-Rasheed is a highly experienced and detail-oriented Legal Practitioner with 23 years of post-call experience. He has held several prestigious positions such as a former member of the Body of Benchers of Nigeria from 2017 to 2020 (A body corporate made up of Legal Practitioners of the highest distinction in Nigeria) and a former member of The Judicial Service Commission of Osun State (2012-2017). As the Managing Partner at Murtala Abdul-Rasheed & Co. Kaduna State, Nigeria, he has established himself as a successful attorney who is highly effective in developing creative case strategies and writing persuasive briefs.

His expertise in trial preparation, research, and drafting legal documents is an asset to his clients, whom he represents with tenacity and analytical thought. With a focus on civil and criminal cases, he has successfully enforced fundamental human rights in various Courts in Nigeria involving complex individual cases on property, claims, succession, wills and probate, matrimonial, constitutional, criminal, corporate issues, Shari’a Law. Additionally, he has acted as a volunteer legal aid to indigent Nigerians and has been retained by both individual and corporate clients as an external solicitor. Mr. Abdul-Rasheed is innovative, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic environments, making him an invaluable member of the legal field.

Mr. Muritala Oladimeji Abdul-Rasheed has an impressive education history that includes a current pursuit of a Ph.D. at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a diverse background that spans from his time at Ansar-Ud-Deen Grammar School, Ikere Akoko, Ondo State to Nigeria Law School in Lagos.

He received degrees and certificates in various fields such as LLM, BL, LLB, and a National Certificate in Education, complementing his membership with reputable professional associations such as the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIA), International Bar Association (IBA), Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU), and more.

Mr. Abdul-Rasheed has assumed various offices in the Nigeria Bar Association, including past Chairman Interim Committee NBA Barnawa Branch (2015-2016), Assistant National Publicity Secretary NBA – (2008 – 2010), National Publicity Secretary NBA – (2006 - 2008), and Assistant Secretary, NBA Kaduna Branch - (2003 – 2005).

He has also made significant contributions to the legal profession in Nigeria, such as serving as Notary public of Nigeria (2008), Member National Committee on Prison Decongestion (2009 to date) and more.
